Q: Who is Void-Hamlet-Herself?
A: I have many names but I usually go by the shortest. Hi. I am Maya. Respect offered will be returned in kind.

Q: What about your dA nickname and avatar?
A: I was once nicknamed Hamlet, then Void, then both. The outcome of this happenstance also gave the name to The-Void-Hamlet project, a community for Art of Sentimental Value.
The current pixel version of my avatar is made by HeatheryAmethyst. It is based on my earlier avatar, which was a crop of a photo of mine, taken in early 2005 by komrae.
Q: Can I post your artwork on my website, or use it in any other way?
A: Ask first.Notify me. My answer will largely depend on the purpose of your request.
My artworks are personal; I do not wish them to be used for commercial goals.
My artworks are my intellectual property, which I value above material property.
Q: Do you do commissions?
A: Yes, and no.
No, in the sense that I am not a professional artist.
Yes, in the sense that I may attempt to draw something specified by you, free of charge, in my own time.
I do offer some postcard photo prints at base price through dA.
Q: Have you ever been to, or considered art school?
A: No, and no.
I write, draw, take photographs and do photo-manipulations for my own pleasure - and not only.
I hope that my works can bring a smile or sparkle a thought in friends and strangers alike.
